PDF Editor - PDF Reader
Privacy Policy
Developer: Simple Stack / Clixup. Package: com.pdfeditor.pdfreader.clixup. Updated October 14, 2026.
This policy explains the Android app's document access, advertising, purchases, and technical data handling.
Your documents and local storage
PDF reading, editing, merging, splitting, image conversion and annotation operate on your device. We do not operate a server that receives your PDFs, images or document contents. Files you select and saved copies remain on your device or in a storage provider you choose. Sharing a file through another app is an action you initiate and that provider's privacy policy applies.
The app requests file access to discover and manage PDFs, including Android all-files access when granted. You can revoke access in Android settings. Recent files, favorites, preferences, tool usage counters and cached purchase status are stored locally. Uninstalling or clearing app storage removes private app data, but does not remove exported documents.
Advertising and technical information
The app includes Google Mobile Ads (AdMob). The current initial testing build uses Google's test ad identifiers. Google's SDK may collect and share IP addresses (which can indicate approximate location), device and advertising identifiers, app/ad interactions, and diagnostic information for advertising, analytics, security and fraud prevention. We do not send your document contents to the advertising SDK.
Google processes SDK information under its own policies. See Google Privacy Policy and Mobile Ads data disclosure. You can manage advertising identifiers and privacy choices in Android settings. Collection by third-party services may continue even when document editing itself is offline.
Purchases
Optional Premium purchases are handled by Google Play Billing. The app reads purchase status, product identifiers and purchase tokens to establish entitlement and restore purchases. We do not receive payment card or bank details. Subscription cancellation and transaction history are managed through Google Play.
Scanning and recognition
Text recognition processes selected page images locally using ML Kit. The document scanner uses Google Play services and can require downloadable components. Scans are returned to the app for local document creation. Google services may process technical service information under Google's privacy policy.
Accounts, diagnostics and retention
The app does not require an app account. Firebase is not configured for this package in the initial release, so app-owned Firebase analytics and crash reporting are not enabled in that build. This policy and the store disclosures will be updated if those services are enabled later. Advertising and Google Play services have their own retention practices. Local documents are retained until you delete them.
Security and your choices
Document processing takes place on your device. Third-party network services use their own security controls. Optional app lock uses Android device authentication; we do not receive biometric templates. You can delete local documents, clear app storage, revoke permissions, or uninstall the app. For requests involving Google's data, use Google's privacy and account controls.
Children
This is a general document productivity app, not a service directed to children under 13. It does not contain a children's account system or knowingly request children's personal information.
